Linux version logbook

Postby margaret.hj » Fri May 08, 2009 2:06 pm

I have just bought an Eee PC with linux operating system, and would like to set up a logbook on it. Does anyone know of one I can use, or do I need to create it from scratch?

Well done you - fly the flag for Open Source !
I guess you'd be looking at a web-based logbook.
There is this one

and this one is not quite ready but will appear soon:

Hope that is helpful.

How long does it take to become a Linux Administrator? Also is 1 year of linux study enough to get a job as System linux administrator? What exactly do I need to learn to achieve that goal?

Hi Merciana
Depends on how fast a learner you are. I guess you can cover the core topics in a year but would you be good enough to get a job as a sysadmin ?
Most Linux people I know learned by themselves as they went along and they never stop learning.
