Martin HurrellInstitution: Co-Chair, HL7-FHIR Anesthesia Working Group Current Focus: Definition of an HL7 Domain Analysis Model (DAM) for the Anesthetic Record. It is hoped to ballot this as an Informative standard in September 2019. As a second stage it is intended to produce an HL7 FHIR Implementation Guide for specifiers and developers and as a member of the SNOMED CT Anesthesia Clinical Reference Group, the continuing identification, development and refinement of SNOMED CT concepts relevant to the specialty of anesthesia. Currently, this vocabulary contains around 5,000 terms. The HL7 structural model and SNOMED term set are synergistic components of the electronic anesthetic record. |
